Immediate opening for an Accounts Payable/Receptionist at a manufacturing company in South Mobile County. In this role, you will be the vital link between our company and vendors, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.  A per-employment drug screen is required. 
 
Duties:
  • Excellent communication skills answering multi phone line.
  • Process and verify vendor invoices using accounting software such as Sage.
  • Manage accounts payable functions including invoice coding and timely payments.
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledger with general ledger records through detailed account reconciliation and journal entries.
  • Handle customer service inquiries related to billing, payments, and account status with professionalism and clarity.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, including data entry of invoices, payments, and vendor information.
  • Sending quotes for a company salesman.
 
Experience:
  • Proven experience in accounts payable functions 
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Sage, Excel and Microsoft Office or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, journal entries, and analysis skills for accurate financial reporting.
  • Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy (10 key typing proficiency) along with attention to detail in bookkeeping tasks.
  
  • This position pays $18.00 per hour, 40 hours per week M-F 8:00 to 4:30.

  • Vacation:  after one year of service 5 days paid vacation, after two years 10 days paid vacation, after five years 15 days paid vacation, ten years 20 days paid vacation, after 15 years 25 days paid vacation which is the max.
